VoiceThread was pretty simple for me to use. I did not have a lot of trouble with the website other than the random bursts of laughter that occurred while we tried to do all of the recording. I did not really like the idea of using the same pictures on a loop for all of my slides, but I am most definitely not artistically talented. There was no way I would be able to draw pictures that would depict my scenes in the way that I really wanted them to. Instead, I chose to simply use pictures of the main characters in my story. I think it ended up turning out pretty well. I had some trouble with the timing when it came to reading my story as well, but all in all I think it turned out okay. Encorporating a VoiceThread into my classroom is definitely something that I will consider doing. I think that any group of students would be excited about the idea of recording their stories online and posting them for others to see. This site has the potential to make more students enjoy writing and want to do it more often. It would give the students a chance to get to know another form of technology and see that there really are endless possibilities when it comes to learning and finding new, fun things for them to do.
